Sell Your House in Hurricane, WV

You can start with the house you have today.

Some rooms may be ready for a buyer while others need a complete update. If you’re considering selling your Hurricane house, AM Investments can review its current condition for a possible as-is purchase.

Before you commit to another project, tell us about the house and your plans. We’ll explain any proposed offer so you can weigh the price, work and timing against your other options.

Our Hurricane work: the Dudding project

These are genuine before-and-after photos from our 421 Dudding project in Hurricane. Both comparisons show the same property at different stages, with different camera positions and lighting. Before is on the left and After is on the right. Select any image for a larger view.

Exterior — before and after

Kitchen — before and after

After

The house retains its tall porch columns, while the later exterior shows a different front entry. Inside, dark cabinets, pale counters and patterned flooring give way to green cabinets, stainless appliances and wood-look flooring. The project shows work we have done; you do not need to create an “after” version before asking us about your own house.

Tell us about your Hurricane house

Enter the property address and your email to begin. Phone is optional. We’ll follow up about the house, your preferred timing and any questions you have. Requesting information does not obligate you to sell.

A house can have more than one kind of work ahead

An older kitchen, worn flooring or a room stripped back for repairs can make preparing a house for sale feel like several projects at once. You can describe the condition room by room rather than deciding which improvements to finish before contacting us.

Tell us about known roof, water, heating, electrical or other concerns as well as visible updates. If you do not know the cause of a problem, say that. Photos and an arranged visit may help us evaluate the property. The scope of our Dudding renovation does not establish what another house needs or what we could offer for it.

Plan the sale around the details that matter

  • What is finished and what is not? Explain work already completed, partially started projects and areas that need attention. Include garages, porches and other spaces you intend to sell with the house.
  • What would you like to take or leave? Discuss furniture, stored items and cleanup before assuming the house must be empty. Any agreed arrangements belong in the written purchase terms.
  • Who needs to be involved? Let us know who owns the house, whether anyone lives there and who can arrange access. If other owners or decision-makers need to participate, include them early.
  • How does the sale fit your next move? Tell us your preferred timing and any practical limits on visits or moving. Closing and possession arrangements need to be discussed and agreed in writing.

“The experience in dealing with your company was excellent. Everything was easily done. Everybody was friendly. It was a good, comfortable interaction. We’re very pleased with everything. Price was fair.”

Understand the tradeoff before choosing an offer

Listing with an agent can be a good option when reaching a broad group of buyers and seeking the strongest sale price are your priorities. Consider the preparation, showings, selling expenses and time involved for your particular property.

A direct offer gives you another option to compare when you prefer to discuss the house as it stands. Review the proposed price, costs, contingencies and responsibilities together. A cash offer is not automatically the highest offer, and a sale only makes sense if the terms meet your needs. Compare a direct sale with listing and learn about our buying process.

From your first question to a possible sale

  1. Share the property and your plans. Start with the address, current condition, occupancy and the timing you have in mind.
  2. Review the house and the proposed offer. We may request photos, a visit or more details. If it fits our buying criteria, we’ll explain the price and proposed written terms.
  3. Decide whether to proceed. You can accept or decline. An accepted purchase moves forward under the agreement and the necessary title and closing work.

Questions about selling in Hurricane

Can I ask about selling when only some rooms need updating?

Yes. Explain the condition of the whole property, including finished rooms and work still needed. We review each house individually.

Do I need to renovate the kitchen first?

You can contact us before doing work specifically for our evaluation. Describe the kitchen as it is now. Any as-is purchase terms would be set out in the agreement.

What if repairs have already been started?

Tell us what was done and what remains unfinished. Photos and available information can help us understand the property, but we may still need a visit or further review.

Can we discuss belongings and move-out timing?

Yes. Explain what you would like to leave and when you plan to move. Any cleanup, possession or other arrangements need to be agreed in writing.

Will I have to accept your offer?

No. You can ask questions and compare alternatives. We do not promise to purchase every house or guarantee the same closing timeline for every property.
